How to Replace Your Sub-Zero 7042803 Undercounter Ice Maker Filter

The Sub-Zero 7042803 is the current part number for the UC-15 ice maker water filter (formerly 7012333) — same filter, new packaging. Follow the steps below.

1. Turn power to the unit off to replace the water filter.
2. Open the ice maker door and find the filter on the bottom-left side.
3. Turn the cartridge one-quarter turn counterclockwise until it pops out.
4. Reverse the process to install the new water filter.
5. Once the filter is replaced, press the CLEAN key pad for 6 seconds to reset the counter and light.
6. Repeat the reset if the counter and light do not reset the first time.
